Sofie Karasek
Sofie Karasek is a communications strategist, visual storyteller, and social movement organizer.
From 2013-2017 she co-led the non-profit End Rape on Campus, where she helped transform activism against campus rape into a national movement that primed the American public for #MeToo.
Her writing has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Guardian, amongst others. She was also featured in the documentary The Hunting Ground and Lady Gaga's 2016 Academy Awards performance.
More recently, she's done communications work for groups working for climate, racial, and economic justice, including the Sunrise Movement, the Green New Deal Network, Young Invincibles, and the Carolina Federation.
She has a degree in political economy from UC Berkeley.
